What Is CF7 Mate?
CF7 Mate is a free plugin that adds styling, multi-step forms, conditional logic, saved responses and more to Contact Form 7. You keep building forms in the editor you already know.
CF7 Mate makes Contact Form 7 forms look better and do more. You keep building forms in the normal Contact Form 7 editor. CF7 Mate adds the styling, fields and form tools that Contact Form 7 does not include.
Every feature is free from version 3.1.0. There is no license key, no paid edition and no limit on the number of sites.
What can CF7 Mate do?

What do I need?
- WordPress 6.0 or later, and PHP 7.4 or later.
- Contact Form 7, installed and active. CF7 Mate adds to it. It does not replace it.
- A page builder only if you want to style forms there. Forms that use CF7 Mate features also work with a normal Contact Form 7 shortcode.
The optional Saddle connection needs WordPress 6.9 or later.
Does CF7 Mate send anything outside my site?
Not unless you set it up. Responses and analytics stay in your WordPress database. CF7 Mate does not contact a license server, and it does not send usage data to PlugPress.
Three things can reach another service, and only after you configure them:
- Webhooks send each submission to the addresses you add.
- The AI form generator sends your prompt to the AI provider you chose, when you click Generate.
- Images in a form load from wherever the image is hosted. Use images from your own media library to avoid that.
FAQ
Is CF7 Mate really free?
Yes. Every supported feature is free from version 3.1.0, on as many sites as you like. The only cost you might see is your own AI provider’s bill, if you use the AI form generator.
Why is the plugin address cf7-styler-for-divi?
That is its original WordPress.org address. It stays the same so existing sites keep getting updates. The plugin started as CF7 Styler for Divi and is now called CF7 Mate.
Do I need Divi?
No. You can style forms in Elementor, Bricks or the block editor. You can also skip builders and use a normal Contact Form 7 shortcode.
I used CF7 Mate Pro. What now?
Switch to the free plugin. Your settings and responses carry over. See Switching from CF7 Mate Pro.
