CF7 Mate
- What Is CF7 Mate? CF7 Mate is a free plugin that adds styling, multi-step forms, conditional logic, saved responses and more to Contact Form 7. You keep building forms in the editor you already know.
- Getting Started with CF7 Mate Install CF7 Mate, run the four-step setup guide, turn on the features you want, and find where everything lives. About five minutes.
- Style Your Forms in Divi, Elementor, Bricks and the Block Editor Pick a form in the CF7 Styler module, widget, element or block, then set colours, spacing and type in the builder you already use. Or give the form a ready-made style preset.
- Multi-Step Forms and Column Layouts Split a long Contact Form 7 form into steps with a progress indicator, and place fields side by side in columns that stack on phones.
- Conditional Logic: Show Fields Only When They Are Needed Wrap fields in a cf7m-if tag to show them only when another answer matches. Hidden required fields never block a submission, and visible ones stay required.
- Extra Fields: Star Ratings, Sliders, Phone Numbers and More Add star ratings, range sliders, international phone numbers, headings, separators, images and icons to a Contact Form 7 form, with the exact tags and options.
- Form Responses, CSV Export and Analytics Keep Contact Form 7 submissions in WordPress, then search, export, print and count them. Both features are off until you turn them on.
- Webhooks, Email Routing, Redirects and Scheduling Choose what happens around a submission: send it to other tools, email the right person, send the visitor to a thank-you page, and open or close the form on set dates.
- Save and Continue: Let Visitors Finish Later Visitors can save a half-finished form and pick it up in the same browser for up to seven days. Turn it on for the site, then for each form that needs it.
- AI Form Generator Describe a form in plain English, or upload a screenshot, and get Contact Form 7 code to review and insert. Uses your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or OpenRouter key.
- Connect an AI Agent to CF7 Mate with Saddle Let Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another AI app create and edit Contact Form 7 forms on your site through Saddle. It can only work on form templates, never responses or keys.
- Switching from CF7 Mate Pro Every CF7 Mate Pro feature is now in the free plugin. Swap the plugins in a few minutes; your forms, settings and responses stay as they are.
