What is Waggle for WordPress?
Waggle is a WordPress SEO and AEO plugin. AEO is answer engine optimization: the work of getting cited by ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity instead of only ranked by Google. Waggle gives every page a copy AI can read, writes and maintains llms.txt, scores each post 0–100 for AI readiness, and logs 18 AI crawlers from 12 companies. The SEO basics come with it: titles, schema, image alt text, redirects, and sitemaps.
How is this different from an SEO plugin?
An SEO plugin optimizes for Google’s ranked links. A WordPress AEO plugin optimizes for the answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) that read pages and cite sources. Waggle does both: every page gets an AI-readable copy, llms.txt stays current, and each post carries a 0–100 readiness score. Run it alongside your SEO plugin — they don’t overlap.
Does it slow my site down?
No — regular visitors get your normal pages, untouched. AI versions are generated and cached for crawlers only, and everything is stored in your own database. Zero work happens in your visitors’ requests.
Is there a free version?
No. Waggle is premium-only, sold here. Every license comes with a 30-day no-questions refund, so the trial is a purchase you can undo.
