Installation

The process to install Lean Forms is just like any other WordPress plugin. For detailed steps, pick one of the options below: Installing the Free version or Installing the Pro version.

Installing the Free version

  • In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New.
  • Search “Lean Forms”.
  • Click Install Now → Activate.
  • Confirm Lean Forms appears in the admin menu.
  • Make sure Contact Form 7 is Active (required).

Installing the Pro version

  1. Get the ZIP: Download the Lean Forms Pro ZIP from your PlugPress account (or the purchase email).
  2. Upload it: WordPress Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → Choose File (the Pro ZIP) → Install Now → Activate.
  3. License: Open Lean Forms → License and enter your license key.
  4. Verify Lean Forms Pro is active and Contact Form 7 is Active.

If upload fails, unzip locally and upload the lean-forms (or lean-forms-pro) folder to wp-content/plugins/, then activate in Plugins.
